International Scout Visiting Program
from Inched Council of Korea
January 13 (Sat) to January 15 (Tue) , 2006

Hosted by the Scout Groups of Nanoh and Shounan District, Kanagawa Council
Today, we held a reception party for the vising Scouts and Leaders from Incheon Council of Korea by Nanoh and Shonan scout group at Totsuka.
    
On the second day, we had a ceremony and exchange program of both Korean and Japanese Scout groups at a ground of Nohijiri school.

At the exchange program, each group introduced very typical cuisine of Korea and Japan, such as Pudechige and Kalcus of Korean and Rice Cake and Oshiruko of Japanese. Also, there was a hot spicy Ramen, Noodle, and Zouni (Rice Cake and soup) as well. Everyone have enjoyed experiencing, as a first time for some people, of those cuisine and fully filled a stamec.

After the cooking program, they played the new year activities of both country until departing time for afternoon program.

The visiting Scouts had a hiking program at Kamakura from its afternoon. Weather has changed from its afternoon and rained very strong.
       
    

After introducing the Scouts and Leaders of both Korea and Japan, they set around the tables and enjoyed a supper and communication.

One of reception program was Yosakoi Dance from Japanese Scouts.
         
There was also a stunts from the visiting Scouts.

At end of reception party, the Scouts were exchanging each other the item of its own, like a scarf and pins.

Tomorrow we will have a ceremony together with both Scout groups.
    
Incheon Scouts stayed at the host family of Yokohama 87 Group participated the beginning of year ceremony which was held on third day. Every year, we have (making a rice cake) at this ceremony.
