2008 Activities
One Day Experience of Scouting
(May 8, 2008)
One day Scouting Program was held to invite those who has an interest and would like to what it is like.

BS scouts have worked from 7:30 of morning to set up the tents and cooking places to be ready by a time those visitors and other scouts (CS & BVS) have arrived.

We are hoping that those visitors will join the group soon.
Summer Camp (July 27- 30, 2008)
This year, our Summer Camp was held at NASU.

It is most fun camp of all because there are so many things to do by scouts.


The Troop Leader is allays a target of Water Pistol game (above).

Climbing a wall was fun and the scouts wanted to play for whole day (right).
Sponsors General Meeting
(September 28, 2008)

This year there were many scouts being awarded at the meeting, but, most of all, full attendance of all the activities over four years was astonishing (right).

After the General Meeting, our first scout meeting for 2009 was held with all scouts and leaders of Yokohama Group 87. (left).
UNICEF and Christmas Party
(December 21, 2008)

Every December before Christmas Party, Beaver and Cub members participate the Fund-raising for UNICEF.

This Christmas Party is a last activity of year. Every scouts are looking forward to Santa with the presents.


23WJ in Japan (July 17, 2008)
The voting for awarding a place to hold 23rd World Scout Jamboree in 2015 has nominated Japan.

It was a great result of people who supported and actively worked toward the award to make Japan as a place to hold this event.


Please visit the 23WJ, and we are looking forward to seeing the Scout friends in Japan !!
Mission Can-Tori

Every year the scouts participate this program of collect the cans to clean up a town. A great award to the scouts for this volunteer (right).


We played many games, but this big rope jump by Beavers, Cub, Boy require a good coordination of scouts (left).
Goodwill Program
with Singapore Cub Scouts
(December 4, 2008)

Cub Scouts Exchange Program was conducted at NOGIMA Youth Center with Singapore Cub Scouts who have visited Japan From November 25.

This was their last night in Japan. We had a supper together and presented the programs. Exchanging he items was a most exciting event for both Scouts. At the end of day, the Scouts and Leaders of Singapore have send out those Japanese Scouts and Leaders with human arch.
